McCabe's Guitar Shop

What’s not to love about an almost 70 year-old guitar shop /venue filled floor to celling with guitars and staffed by incredibly specialized knowledgeable nerds young and old? I was here the other week with my dad (shoutout) who once saw Sun Ra perform there inches away from his face. Iconic. I still haven’t made it to a show but would love to.

really nice intimate shows if you're into folk/folk rock/country adjacent. some heavy hitters, but they sell out fast. just a nice environment. my dad used to see bob weir play here.
